- Daytime parking: For daytime parking we recommend using the ample street parking available along 6th Ave NW and 6th St NW. We also have a small parking lot accessible through the alley directly to the south of our building. Please do not park in the Dwell Local or Good Dog Camp lot during the day if you are not also a customer of those establishments, as those businesses use them throughout the day. See the photo for clarity on best parking options.
- Evening parking: In the evening, please feel free to park in the lot in our back, the lot by Dwell, or along the street!

- We are really focused on building a film community in Rochester. One of our main programs for this is the Flying V Program. Members of our Flying V Club are able to come to any regular showtimes for free. Membership fees for the club are only $20 a month. We hope this will allow patrons to consistently see our cultivated film selection without having to consider if each film is “worth” the cost of admission. We want to shift the question from if a film is worth the money, to if a film is worth the thought. And we think you will agree that all of our films are worth the thought. If you would like to be a member of the Flying V Program, please talk to one of our barista’s the next time you stop in or email [email protected] .

- We celebrate time-tested Italian standards for espresso drinks, serving a full coffeehouse menu of lattes, cappuccinos, coffee, and more (more can be found on our coffeehouse tab, including a full menu). We also serve a selection of locally made sodas and drinks, as well as our in-house popcorn, made without vegetable oil.
-
- For only $12, patrons can enjoy both films playing on any given night at Gray Duck. After the first showing, we ask that everyone leave the cinema while we clean it, but you will be able to re-enter and watch the second show. Of course, Flying V member always have this option.

- At Gray Duck Theater & Coffeehouse we are zealous to protect the viewing experience for our patrons. Often, the experience of a whole crowd can be ruined by one or two individuals who don’t consider those around them. We understand that it is our responsibility, not that of our patrons, to protect them selfish acts that will ruin an experience they paid for. Because of this, we have a couple important rules we require all of our customers to adhere by:
- (1) No use of cell phones at any time during a screening. We will ask you to leave if we see the use of a cell phone.
- (2) We do not allow children under the age of 12 to come to our regular showings. We love kids and families, and often host special family showtimes where all ages are welcome, but we do not believe children under the age of 12 have reached an age of maturity where they can be trusted sit through a film without distracting other visitors. There are, of course, certain films that we will lift this restriction for, such as animated films made for children. Email [email protected] if you have questions regarding a certain film.
- (3) Please no talking during a film, especially at higher volumes. Persistent talking, even if it is whispering, will lead to a warning from our staff, and being asked to leave if not stopped.
-
- Anyone above of 11 is welcome to our theater. As we mentioned above, in an attempt to protect the viewer experience, we do not allow children younger than 12 to attend our film showings, even if accompanied by a guardian.
- We welcome everyone to Gray Duck Theater & Coffeehouse and strive to make sure each person can enjoy our film and concessions in this community. If you would like to make us aware of any accommodations that would better equip you to gather in comfort at our space, including needs based on abilities, body size, access to resources, language, or any other circumstance, please let us know by contacting our team at [email protected] .
